How do I set up an account?
Please contact your child’s school to find out more. If your school uses SchoolGrid, please contact our Customer Care team on 01942 707709 or email customercare@dolce.co.uk for more information on how to do this.

My child has allergen/dietary requirements, can you still provide school meals?
Absolutely! Our allergen-blocking system recognises 14 major allergens. Simply select the allergens which apply, and the system will prevent any unsafe meals from being ordered. But if you have any concerns about allergens or specific dietary requirements, please do contact our Customer Care team on 01942 707709 or email customercare@dolce.co.uk

How do I make payments?
You can pay via credit/debit card online via your account or over the telephone with our Customer Care team, who are available Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Please note there is a minimum payment of £10 required when paying over the telephone.

Do I get charged for a meal which my child hasn’t eaten?
No, you will only ever be charged for meals your child has eaten.

Can I use childcare vouchers to pay for school meals?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept childcare vouchers as payment for school meals.

How do I pre-order sides and desserts?
We don’t offer the option to pre-order sides and desserts, your child will be able to choose from a range of sides and desserts at lunchtime instead. Our system will inform the cook of any options a child cannot have based on their allergen or dietary requirements.

How can I see what is served alongside the main dish when pre-ordering for my child?
When pre-ordering your dishes, you’ll see a Full Menu tab on the Order Meals page of School Grid. Here, you’ll find a full list of all items available each day, along with all of their nutritional content.
