Supporting Wellbeing in Schools

To encourage new flavours and food experiences, as well as light gardening experience, we regularly implement herb gardens in schools. It comes as better levels of attention in class, higher achievement and stronger links with the local community have been reported in children with greater engagement with nature and time outside.

We provide experienced gardeners to work with the pupils on creating a space where vegetables can be grown for use in our dishes. The inclusion of pupils encourages them to try new vegetables at lunch time.

Herb gardens are no additional cost to the schools.
