Dawn wins it for Dolce

July saw the return of the Stork Big School Bake Off at the Lead Association for Catering in Education (LACA) Main Event 2017 in Birmingham. Several cooks from schools across the country were shortlisted to create a show-stopping pudding masterpiece containing 50% fruit content. The competition was high but there could only be one winner and that winner was Dawn Twemlow, Head Cook at Intake Primary School, Doncaster.

Dawn created a Summer Sunshine Pudding with a mouth-watering raspberry and peach base layered by a light lemon sponge and the result was a delicious palate pleaser. Dolce are extremely proud of Dawn and the recognition she has received for her talent as a cook. Her winning dessert will feature on the 2018 Summer Menu across all of our 400 schools.
