DOLCE SCHOOLS CATERING CELEBRATES RECORD YEAR OF NEW BUSINESS WINS

Dolce Catering is very pleased to announce a record year for new business, securing 29 new catering contracts covering 126 schools ahead of the new academic year.

The latest contract wins will see us providing school meals to over 700 primary and secondary schools from September 2026 – with projected annual revenue reaching over £75 million for 2026/27.

The new contracts further strengthen our position as one of the UK’s leading school caterers, as we now serve more than 150,000 pupils every day and cater for one in every 20 schools across England – while also expanding our presence across Wales.

Following a successful tendering period that secured £16.5m of additional turnover, our teams are preparing for the new academic year with major canteen redesigns at a number of high schools across the UK. These large-scale transformations will include full fit-outs of school dining halls and the creation of exciting new food courts, designed to appeal to students with global flavours and modern trend-led menus.

Scott Curtis, Managing Director of Dolce Schools Catering, said: “This has been another record-breaking year for Dolce and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. Welcoming over 125 new schools is a fantastic endorsement of everything our business stands for.

Scott Curtis, CEO of Dolce

“While these figures are something to celebrate, they’re only possible because of the dedication, passion and hard work of every single member of the Dolce team. From our frontline catering teams serving pupils every day, to our operations, mobilisation, food development, support and business development colleagues, everyone has played a part in making this our strongest year yet.

“As a business built on family values, our people have always been at the heart of our success. Schools choose Dolce because they know they’ll receive great food, genuine partnership and a team that truly cares about delivering the very best experience for every child. We’re excited to welcome our new schools in September and look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.”

The announcement follows another landmark year for the Dolce team. Earlier this year we announced partnerships with Olio and ReFood, helping to further reduce food waste across our schools. Then in June, we launched the UK’s first-ever ‘zero food waste’ school lunch initiative – the Wasteless Plate campaign – and more recently, we were recognised with a ProVeg Silver School Plates Award for its healthy and sustainable school menus.

We’re proud to be one of the fastest-growing education caterers in the UK, while continuing to build on our reputation for delivering innovative, nutritious meals that pupils genuinely enjoy.
